She and Daniel Horsmanden received on 9 August 1627 a licence to marry[2] and were wed 27 August 1627 in All Saints Church at Ulcombe, Kent.[3] She was 18 years of age, and Daniel was about 44 (his birth year was incorrectly listed in their marriage record as being 1587, but he was baptised in 1583).[4] They had six children:
Ursula's husband was a well respected scholar and cleric, but he was also an outspoken royalist. In 1643 he was sequestered by parliament for affirming that "the late Deputy of Ireland was put to death wrongfully, and was sacrificed as our Saviour Christ was, to give people content."[9] He was evicted from his position as Vicar of Ulcombe and fined heavily, as well as being accused publicly of other offences such as "malicious actions toward parliament" and "having an aversion to weekday sermons." [9] The impact of the sequestration was enormous on his family. They struggled financially for years afterward and never fully recovered.
Ursula Horsmanden outlived her husband by about sixteen years. There is some indication that, in the year following Daniel's death, she may have gone to Virginia to live with her oldest son Warham and his young family.[10] If that was the case, she almost certainly returned to England with them sometime after 1660. She died in 1672 and was buried 18 October 1672 at All Saints Church in Ulcombe, Kent, where her family had worshiped for generations.[11]

St. Ledger-1 and St Leger-159 appear to represent the same person because: St Leger is the correct LNAB (aka no period) but -159 has the right sources & parents.
